Based in England, composer Pranav Makhijani is the founder of MCM Productions. A chance encounter with the music of John Williams at the age of twelve inspired him to pursue film music and composition. He began his musical journey at the age of five. As he grew older, he chose the piano as his primary instrument, which allowed him to explore the field of composition. At the age of sixteen, he decided to pursue a career as a composer for film and television.

Pranav Makhijani is a Film Score Composer and Record Producer known for crafting evocative and dynamic scores for film, television, and multimedia projects. With a deep passion for storytelling through music, he brings a unique blend of artistry and technical expertise to every project.

Having worked with live orchestras and chamber ensembles, Makhijani understands the practices and requirements involved in working with professional musicians and recording sessions. His compositions are known for their narrative depth and cinematic storytelling.

Pranav Makhijani holds a Certificate in Higher Education in Music from Middlesex University London. He also achieved third place in the International Competition for Composers held in Russia, an accomplishment that helped lay the foundation for a journey marked by creativity, dedication, and a deep understanding of the craft. He graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BA (Hons) in Music and Popular Music.
